Six gates between your idea and the production line.
SixGate is F-CAD’s design-to-manufacture process. Every gate is peer-reviewed, issued to you on a numbered transmittal and closed only with your approval.
Each gate closes before the next one opens.
Six decision points, from the first requirement to production release. At each one the work is reviewed, issued to you and agreed before anything moves on.
Nothing moves on until it is checked, issued and agreed.
Checked by a second engineer
Every deliverable is peer-reviewed against your requirements before it leaves F-CAD. Not the author’s word for it: someone else’s signature.
Issued on a numbered transmittal
Each release says what was sent, at which revision and why. The files arrive in your shared project folder, organised the same way on every job.
Agreed by you, in one click
Approve, request a change or reject straight from the e-mail. Later changes come as change notifications that name their source and every document they touch.
Simulation you can check.
Every study is refined until the answer stops changing, then compared with a hand calculation before it reaches you. Static, non-linear, modal, fatigue and thermal analysis, with a formal report.
- Model and loads
- Mesh refined until the answer converges
- Results
- Checked by hand
Peak stress at each mesh against the hand calculation. The study is finished when the two agree.
From loader buckets to reel seats.
The gates stay the same whatever the product. What changes is the engineering inside them.

SixGate is how F-CAD works.
F-CAD Ltd is a UK engineering design company. SixGate is the process its engineers run on every project: the same gates, the same reviews and the same paperwork, whoever is working on your job.
